Junior League of Greater Lakeland

The Junior League will host its annual World of Reading Festival in Barnett Park Saturday, April 6th from 9am – 1pm.

This free event is open to children of all ages and their families!

This FREE family event is a local tradition, loved by local moms, dads, grandparents and most importantly – KIDS!

At the World of Reading Festival you’ll find crafts, kids activities, balloon artists, face painters, snacks and drinks. The event will also include local Family Friendly, Folk Singer-Songwriter Will Forever. There will also be an opportunity to  meet a local Author 1. Ciara F. Bates, “A Simple Act of Kindness” 2. Shelby Mander “Petunia the Piccolo Player. Each child that attends the event will also receive free books.
