Junior League of Greater Lakeland

The Junior League will host its annual World of Reading Festival in Barnett Family Park Saturday, April 18th from 9am – 1pm.

This free event is open to children of all ages and their families!

This FREE family event is a local tradition, loved by local moms, dads, grandparents and most importantly – KIDS!

At the World of Reading Festival, you’ll find crafts, kids activities, balloon artists, face painters, snacks and drinks. The event will also include local Family Friendly, singer & entertainer, Jack Hartmann. There will also be an opportunity to meet two local authors, Heather Marie (Pickle Juice and Patty Cakes Big Farm Adventure) and Kierra Zuokemefa (Featherville Island). Each child that attends the event will also receive free books.
