Lakeland, FL: The second annual Junior League Spotlight on Style, happening on November 16, 2017. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a fashion show featuring local fall fashion and holiday shopping with local vendors. Shop the runway for fun accessories, stylish outfits all at affordable prices. This year, the event will be held at Haus 820. Doors open at 5:30 P.M. for shopping, the fashion show will begin at 7:30 P.M. The event has a philanthropic focus. All proceeds raised from ticket sales will go to fund The Junior League’s outreach program, which donates various contributions to organizations throughout Lakeland. In addition, The Junior League is proud to partner with Top Buttons, a charitable and educational organization that builds self-esteem through fashion in young women. Rebecca Paul, a member of the Junior League, is excited for all the surprises this year’s event has in store for attendees. “We are so thankful for all the support that Spotlight on Style received last year,” Paul said. “It is a true testament to what a great community Lakeland is and how we rally around initiatives that are focused on making it the best it can be.” Tickets for the event can be purchased online at JLGL.org/Fundraiser/Fashion. General admission tickets can be purchased for $52. VIP tickets are also available and include preferred, front row seating, a drink ticket and a VIP-exclusive swag bag.
